Over 40 years experience in creating Aluminum Tooling
Rapid Aluminum Tooling
– No Design Limits –
Your Injection Molded Plastic Prototype Concept
We Build to Your Specification.
Rapid Plastic Prototypes usually means compromising on the design in order to receive parts quickly and cost efficiently. We blend traditional Injection Molding Tooling methods with Aluminum Tooling to rapidly produce production quality Plastic Prototypes in 3 weeks or less, check out our Aluminum Tooling Lead Times.
Plastic Prototype’s that compromise and limit your design? Cheap on the front side isn’t so cheap at the cost of expensive lessons learned in production start-up. Our customers need and want Injection Molded Plastic Prototypes that show their design live, fit and function so they can learn from it and move directly into production. 3D Printed Prototype Parts
Rapid Plastic Prototypes Just Got Faster
Plastic Parts in Hours
3D Printing creates fit & function parts in hours. We now are making 3D printed molds for short run prototyping. Now you can get all the speed benefits of 3D printing along with the learning process from Aluminum Tooling. This ensures a smooth transition from true prototypes to production quality parts from Aluminum Tooling or other materials.
3D printed molds can run many types of materials and 3D printed molds are fitted with everything a traditional mold is fitted with… water lines, cam slides, core pins, lifters, etc.
Depending on the resin and part geometry, 3D printed molds are well suited for about 100 shots in general.

Bridge Tooling | Plastic Prototype Tooling
50,000, 100,000, 250,000, 1,000,000+ Bridge tooling, soft tooling, pilot production, market testing, gap testing, etc. Called by any name it still is pre-production quantities. The plastic prototype chosen is important in how successful the project will be in closing the “gap” and crossing into full production or a new design. Our rapid Aluminum Tooling gets you there faster.
8 Myths About Aluminum Tooling
These are the most common myths about Aluminum tooling. Our Team has been creating injection molded prototypes and production volumes from Aluminum Tooling since the late 1970’s. We continue to have great success with them to this day. Recently due to a variety of factors ranging from cost, lead times, volumes etc Aluminum tooling for injection molded plastic parts.
